About

Laura (she/her) is a visual designer, art director, educator, textile lover, and West Coast transplant currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with a B.S. in Biopsychology and entered the world of design by way of the California Central Coast craft beer industry and Shillington School of Graphic Design in NYC.

In her current role as Senior Visual Designer at OBERLAND, a creative advertising agency in NYC, she focuses on building brands through visual story telling, motion graphics, seamless UX/UI, and a user-centered approach.

After completing Shillington’s course-work, she returned in 2021 to teach the NYC part-time course alongside her co-teacher, Anna Meyer.
